The Big Return

As the title itself alludes to, I am indeed returning. With my exams done and some time taken to relax I feel more ready than ever to start the blog up again. So what can you expect from the return? Well I'm going to continue doing much as have been doing before with creative pieces being posted on here but there is going to be some new ideas and concepts I'm very eager to try out as well. As always a massive thank you to any soul who reads this because without your support I simply couldn't do it.

So a bit of a quickie just to explain what seems to be my huge break from blogging recently!

I've recently been quite busy with essays and revision for upcoming deadlines, so unfortunately I have been unable to focus on creating new material for a while. I also went back home recently for a much needed break and decided to put my writing on hiatus and just chill for a little bit.

But with my holiday done and essays nearing completion it does mean I'll have more free time once again. So expect the occasional post to start trickling through now and again. Whilst I'm still in exam season I won't be able to get back into full flow but after it is done I am planning on spending my five months off from studies to do a massive amount of writing. So hopefully you should get a wealth of material beginning to trickle through around the end of May.

I'm Back!

Yes, it's true my essay is done and I have managed to write some material in the free time I've forged for myself so that you gorgeous people have some material to peruse again. In fact I'm so happy that I'm able to focus on my writing again that today you are going to be inundated with posts! I'm planning to do three or four posts alone today. So, very exciting news indeed.
I'd like to thank you for your patience and continued support throughout. This blog really drives me to be creative and to proactive in my writing. I feel that through this I'm making significant improvements on my writing skills and getting a little better each day.

Update: Where's the Material...

So I thought I would explain the apparent lack of material that I'm producing as of late. At the moment I'm currently in the midst of writing an essay for my university course which is pretty much consuming all my manpower at the moment but I'm hoping to hand it in by next Wednesday so we can have some more material here on the blog.
I'm very inspired by the works of Keats, Byron and Pope at the moment so you can definitely expect some poetry to come along soon when I have the time to sit down and do it. I also itching to do some music reviews and have two albums lined up which I cannot wait to do.
So even if this week has been much like rainfall in an arid desert in terms of writing you can expect quite a bit of material (hopefully) to start coming through late next week.

Just a Quickie

So after what can only be described as an absolutely Super Saturday we are into a new week!
I didn't want to leave you in the dark about everything so I thought I would quickly tell you what is currently in the works and some things I'm hoping to release this week.
First of all I will definitely releasing, just after this, a comical little piece I wrote as an admission to a Writing Academy in the hope that I get entered into it. After the unprecedented success on my music review with Ilias I have ideas for music reviews in my head with one at least coming out this week. Finally I hope to release to you another poem; although when this will come to fruition I have no idea, but fingers crossed.

Super Saturday

Hello all!
Thank you to those who have been reading my blog so far, your support has been great.
I thought I would just give you a little lowdown into what to expect today.
I'm just wrapping up one or two projects today so you can look forward to two new posts today. One being an outline of a screenplay I'm developing and a music review. I will also being making a few small edits to the Poem Miserere as well although I think I will just edit the original post instead of making a new one because they are minor changes.

New Start

Welcome one and all!

My name is Philip Bell and this is my third attempt at starting a blog, although this time I actually have a format nailed down and super promise not to stop!
The basic idea of this is that it will contain not just my creative writing such as poetry, screenplays, short stories, etc but also things such as personal thoughts, perspectives and (something I'm very excited about) music reviews. I will obviously be testing and trying different formats and working on improving content constantly. Another important thing to mention is that I won't be posting on a set time each week but rather when ever I have content to publish. I think if a certain format becomes increasingly popular then I will consider regular content but for now its just going to be whenever.
